Posted: Updated:

 LAWTON, Okla._

Lawton police said they would not be investigating a weekend shooting or the assault of a second man, after the two victims refused to cooperate with police.

Police said a man was shot in the leg Saturday night while a second was pistol whipped. The two showed up at a local hospital, but when police arrived were unwilling to cooperate. The men described the suspects as two black males who assaulted them after shouting "Give it to us."

Police aren't sure where the assaults took place, when police asked the victim's the men's stories didn't match.
