Mandela Still Hospitalized

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa_Former South African President Nelson Mandela is still in the hospital. That's according to a South African Presidential spokesman who denies earlier reports that Mandela had returned home to Johannesburg.

Mandela was hospitalized for a lung infection on June 8th. The spokesman said Mandela remains in "critical but stable" condition.

Mandela was elected South Africa's first black president in 1994 and retired five years later after one term in office.
