A new attorney has agreed to represent accused child killer Noe Torres.

Los Lunas attorney Stacey Ward has agreed to represent Torres. According to the Clovis News Journal, during an August 12th hearing, Torres told the judge there was a conflict on interest with his attorney at the time.

The judge told Torres he could change attorneys and his trial date would be set after his attorney was decided upon.

Torres is accused of shooting and killing a ten-year-old Clovis boy in 2005 while the boy was asleep in his family's apartment. Police say the intended target was the boy's older brother.
