Hearing To Resume In Murder Of 4 Women In Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Prosecutors say they will need more time to question witnesses in a hearing for two brothers charged with robbing and shooting to death four women at a Tulsa apartment complex.

Lawyers said Wednesday morning that questioning is expected to stretch into Thursday in Tulsa District Court.

James and Cedric Poore are suspects in the January murders of 4 women at a Tulsa apartment complex. They have pleaded not guilty and are being represented by separate attorneys.

The preliminary hearing that will determine whether there's enough evidence to bind the brothers over for trial has moved slowly.

On Tuesday, defense attorneys for Cedric Poore questioned a state's witness about her motivation for testifying against the brothers.
