Driver leads police on chase from Lawton to Burkburnett, TX

Lawton- A driver is facing several charges leading police on a high speed chase from Lawton to Texas early Monday morning.

It happened around 2 a.m. Comanche Nation Police say they tried to stop a pickup near their casino in Lawton before learning it was stolen. The driver headed south on I-44, reaching speeds just under 100 miles per hour. Texas state troopers set up spike strips at the Red River bridge. They apparently took out the pickup's tires and authorities were able to finally stop it in Burkburnett.

The driver was arrested, but so far no other details have been released.
