LAWTON, Okla._A Lawton man was arrested Saturday morning after police went to check out a report of a man chasing people around a swimming pool with a gun.
Police were called to a northwest Lawton apartment complex swimming pool to investigate but could not find the victims or possible suspect. Police later found the victim at a nearby gas station. He told police
his brother-in-law, 25- year- old Emmanuel Dixon, beat and choked him before going to his car and grabbing a sawed off shot gun. He said Dixon pumped the gun and pointed at him. That's when he ran for help.
Police believe the incident happened when the victim tried to intervene in an argument Dixon was having with his sister. Police later found Dixon and he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest after refusing to get out of his car.
