Police seek armed robbery suspect

Amarillo, TX - Police are searching for a man who robbed an Amarillo Subway at gunpoint.

It happened just after 10:00 Monday morning at the Subway on I-40, in between Grand and Nelson street.

Amarillo police report the suspect took cash from the register, pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded she lift the register drawer.

The man is said to be around 5' 10" and 190 lbs. He was wearing a University of Texas baseball cap, a grey shirt and blue jeans.
