Altus Police Need Help Finding Hotel Robber

ALTUS Okla_ Altus police are investigating a robbery of a local hotel reported Monday night.

Police responded to the Microtel Inn and Suites at around 9:15PM. The hotel clerk told police that he was in a laundry room next to the front lobby. He said he heard a noise and exited that room to discover a suspect standing near the front desk. He said the suspect asked for change. That's when the clerk said he noticed the cash drawer open. The suspect pushed his way past the clerk and ran out of the hotel. A witness told police the suspect ran away down an alley.

The suspect is described as a thin white male, about 5' 8" tall, in his early 20's, with short blond curly hair. He was last seen wearing a gray tank top and blue jeans. He left with an undetermined amount of cash. Police continue their investigation
