Hastings closing area store

Canyon, Texas - A local leading multimedia retailer will be closing it's doors in Canyon.

Hastings has been a leading retailer in the sale of new and used books, videos and CD's. But, November 2nd will be the last day of business for their store on North 23rd Street in Canyon.

This location employs approximately 35 associates both full and part-time.

We reached out to Hastings to learn more on the reason behind the closure in Canyon, but were told executives were in meetings.

The retailer has 128 superstores in 19 states, as well as three concept stores in Amarillo, Lubbock and Littleton, Colorado.

The Canyon store will be holding a going out of business sale that will run through Saturday November 2nd, which will be the last official day of business.
