Zac Scott

Posted: Updated:

Zac Scott hails from Hot Springs, Arkansas. He graduated from Bryant High School in 2006 and earned a Broadcast Meteorology Degree from Mississippi State University.

He joined the KSWO team August 2013 and is very excited to start his career in Southwest Oklahoma.

Growing up in Central Ark., he is no stranger to severe weather and the occasional snowstorm. As far back as elementary, Zac remembers telling his grandparents he wanted to be a weatherman. His father would take him for rides in thunderstorms when he was young. To this day if a strong storm is bearing down he craves to be out driving in it.

Zac interned at KTHV in Little Rock and was a radio weather personality and weekly sit-in on the Morning Routine.

Zac passionately follows college football and major league baseball. He loves the Boston Red Sox and of course, the Arkansas Razorbacks. Being active in church, hanging with friends, wake boarding and going to movies—his favorites are ones about patriotism and the U.S. Military—are a few of his favorite things.

Zac is very family oriented and has an older brother, Eric and a younger sister, Meredith. Eric has a son, Dylan and daughter, Abigail; Zac is a very proud uncle. His sister is a news editorial major at Arkansas State University.
