Posted: Updated:

LAWTON, Okla_A Lawton family is getting lots of help from the Red Cross this morning after a fire claimed their home over night.

Lawton firefighters were called to a home near "H" Avenue and Sheridan Road around 4:30 Saturday morning.

For reasons still being investigated, the porch caught fire and quickly spread to the home. At the time firefighters arrived the porch was engulfed in flames. The entire front of the home is gone,  and extensive damage was caused throughout.

At this time firefighters do not believe the fire to be suspicious.
