STEPHENS COUNTY, Okla._
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a driver distracted by their cell phone was responsible for causing an accident Saturday afternoon along Highway 7, just east of Highway 81.
Troopers said two drivers were west bound when the driver of a pickup became distracted while on his cell phone and drifted into the right lane crashing into a car.
The car was forced off the highway and into the ditch. The truck also went off the highway and into the ditch before crashing through a fence. It came to a rest in a field. No one was injured in the accident.
