House Passes Bill to Give all Furloughed Federal Workers Retroactive Pay

WASHINGTON (AP) _ Some of the 800,000 furloughed federal employees, about 400,000 of them who work at the Pentagon, will be returning to work under the Pay Our Military Act. Meanwhile, the House has passed a bill to give all furloughed federal workers retroactive pay once the government reopens. The Senate is expected to OK it as well. The White House also backs the legislation.
