Oklahoma one of 17 States Experiencing Food Stamp Glitch

UNDATED (AP) _

Food stamp recipients in Ohio, Michigan and 15 other states can't use their debit-style cards because of a technical glitch. The cards are linked to Electronic Benefits Transfer systems operated by Xerox for the 17 states. A Xerox spokeswoman says technicians are working on the problem and hope to have it resolved soon. The glitch has no connection to the government shutdown.
