Some City of Amarillo phone lines under repair

From the City of Amarillo:

Phone Lines Under Repair
Call 378-3000

Amarillo, TX – The City of Amarillo's Communications department is currently working with AT&T to resolve an issue with incoming calls to the Amarillo Police Department, Municipal Court and the non-emergency number for the Amarillo Emergency Communications Center. Callers will not hear the phone ring, nor can they hear when the phone is answered.

The problem is expected to be resolved sometime Tuesday. In the meantime, if you need to contact any of those departments or a specific person in those departments, contact the city operator at 378-3000 and ask for the person by name, department, or extension number, and your call can be completed. The city operators at the 378-3000 number are only available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Emergency 911 services are not affected by this difficulty.
