Amarillo man arrested for evading arrest, stolen motorcycles

Amarillo TX - An Amarillo man is arrested after police find him in possession of two stolen motorcycles.

Just before 5:00 Tuesday afternoon APD officers were working traffic in a school zone in the 6500 block of Fulton when they caught a motorcycle speeding.

As officers approached the bike the driver, David Nunn sped off. The vehicle was later found abandoned in the 4000 block of Montague. After a short foot chase, Nunn was found and arrested.

Officers discovered the bike had been stolen the day before. While searching a nearby residence an additional stolen motorcycle was recovered.

Nunn was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading arrest and an outstanding Randall County warrant.
