Lawton convenience store robbery

Lawton- Lawton police are investigating a convenience store robbery. It happened around 3 a.m. Thursday morning at the EZ Go on Cache Road and 24th Street.

The clerk told dispatchers three men, at least one of them with a gun, stole cash and cigarettes from the store before running off. The robbers were wearing red and black masks. Police immediately launched a search in the area, but at last check officers had not made any arrests.

It's not clear if the crime is connected to a failed robbery at the Hop & Sak on Southeast 45th and Gore the night before.
