LAWTON, Okla._ A Lawton man who pleaded guilty to downloading hundreds of images of child porn was sentenced to twelve and a half years in prison Tuesday.
Ross Wright was arrested in December of 2011. Investigators tracked him down using a large network of agencies that monitors Internet traffic for child porn. When he was arrested, Wright told police he had worked as a computer technician for 13 years. Investigators said they believed Wright thought that knowledge could help him outwit the system and hide the files.
On top of the prison sentence, Wright must also register as a sex offender for life.
