OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla._
Former Oklahoma lawmaker Randy Terrill was found guilty Tuesday of felony bribery.
Terrill was accused of trying to set up another law maker with an $80,000 a year job if she would agree not to run for re-election.
Terrill took the stand Tuesday afternoon and flat out denied offering such a bribe. His defense said the prosecution failed to provide enough evidence to prove a crime was committed.
The jury deliberated about six hours before convicting him. Terrill faces up to two years in prison and a one-thousand dollar fine.
