Amarillo, TX - An area man suffers life threatening injuries following a motorcycle wreck in south Amarillo.
Amarillo police say it was around 9:00 Tuesday night when the crash happened at Bell and Farmers Avenue.
Police say 22 year old Travis Lee Dowty rear-ended a Pontiac Grand Prix and suffered serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
Dowty was taken to a local hospital and later flown to Lubbock for treatment.
