Michael Edicola named Vice President of Human Resources
DETROIT, Nov. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Christopher Ilitch, President and CEO of Ilitch Holdings, Inc. announced today that veteran human resources executive Michael Edicola has been named Vice President of Human Resources at Ilitch Holdings, Inc. The appointment is effective immediately.

"With over 30 years of human resources experience in a wide range of global companies, Michael has the ability to make a meaningful and immediate contribution to our organization by aligning all of our human resource initiatives with our strategic business plans."
In his new role, Mr. Edicola will lead the human resource functions across all the Ilitch companies after a retirement recently left the post vacant. He will oversee human resource strategies, programs and processes, including employee engagement, recruiting and retention initiatives, leadership development and compliance.
Most recently, Mr. Edicola was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Clearwater Paper Corporation, where he led the human resources strategies for the company of over 4,000 employees in multiple locations. Prior to Clearwater, he served in several executive human resource positions including Baxter International, a $10 billion global company of over 31,000 employees in 65 locations, and General Electric, where he spent 14 years developing his skills in a number of human resource disciplines.
He holds a B.S. in Industrial Relations from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, and a M.A. in Human Resources/Labor and Employment Relations from the University of Cincinnati.
