Suspect in Custody for Recent Burglaries in Altus

ALTUS,Okla_The investigation of residential burglaries in Altus has led authorities to a suspect.

Altus police and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant for 

53 year-old Phillip Leon at his home early Tuesday morning. Intelligence gathered over a period of several weeks indicated that the person living at 514 North Jackson was in possession of property that was stolen during recent residential burglaries.

Investigators confiscated jewelry, electronic equipment and drug paraphernalia from the house. 
Leon was arrested for stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drugs paraphernalia.

He's being held at the Jackson County Jail.
