LAWTON Okla_ Lawton police arrested a man after he and another man allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint Wednesday.

22-year-old Nathan Rollins was arrested after a bizarre turn of events led police to his front door.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of Taft around 9:30 AM Wednesday. The victim said her ex-boyfriend and another man came to her house and robbed her at gunpoint. She said they took her car keys and some other things. Then, they drove away in her car. Police later spotted the car and pulled it over. Police chased the suspects, but lost them during the chase. They said they saw one the passenger drop a gun on the ground. Officers also found three more weapons in the car.

A short time later, an officer responded to the 2100 block of Lindy on a report of a stolen gun. When he got there, he noticed that the victim was dressed just like one of the suspects from the vehicle. As the victim was describing the gun he said had been stolen, the officer realized it was the same description of the handgun found from the foot chase. The officer who had chased the passenger of the car from earlier came to the home and positively identified the victim as the passenger from the stolen vehicle. The woman who was robbed also identified him as one of the men who robbed her.

Rollins was arrested and booked into jail for first degree robbery and resisting a police officer.
