Two charged with helping escaped inmates

ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) _ Prosecutors accuse two Anadarko women of harboring a pair of inmates who escaped from the Caddo County jail.

The Lawton Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/1esIehT ) that 32-year-old Stephanie Marie Leemhuis and 30-year-old Drina Adele Lozania-Gomez were charged with harboring fugitives from justice. Authorities say the women were arrested the same day that police apprehended two men who'd escaped the county jail on Oct. 27.

The women are expected in court Friday. It wasn't immediately clear whether they had attorneys.

An affidavit alleges that the inmates were found Tuesday in Lozania-Gomez's home. The affidavit says inmate Tristan Cheadle was found in a bedroom and Thomas Wesley Johnson II was discovered in the attic.

Authorities have said the inmates escaped the county jail by climbing through a trap door above a shower.
