DPS finds 125 pounds of pot, five pounds of hash on I-40

Amarillo, TX - Troopers uncovered more than half a million dollars in drugs on Interstate 40.

DPS says in a traffic stop Tuesday, troopers found five pounds of hashish and 125 pounds of marijuana stashed inside a car traveling near Conway in Carson County.

A 61 year-old Florida man, Michael Lee Water, who troopers believe was taking the drugs from California to Georgia, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
