Oklahoma teacher charged for groping student

CHICKASHA, Okla_An Oklahoma school tutor faces felony charges for groping a student.

The suspect is 30-year old Mario Castro of Chickasha. Investigators say he admitted to giving the teenager beer, then assaulting him in a fast-food restaurant bathroom.

 

The teen then gave a handwritten note containing the allegations to a school counselor.

Castro is scheduled for his first court appearance this Friday. The school has suspended him with pay.

The reception was held at the Youth Services of Stephens County.  The guest of honor was Jerry Wright - who is the director of the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. Wright is responsible for helping nonprofits all across the southern part of the state. He answers any questions about budget, legal advice, and others.

    Two teens are lucky to be alive after allegedly stealing a car in Lawton early Tuesday morning and crashing into a tree next to the Fort Sill Golf Course. Lawton Police were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle just before 5:00 a.m. The vehicle drove through Scott Gate on Fort Sill Boulevard until the road ends at King Road.  The driver was unable to navigate the curve near Upton Road near hole #15 on Fort Sill's Golf Course at such a high rate of speed.
