Posted: Updated:

GRADY CO. Okla_ A Grady County man was arrested after stabbing an officer twice and hurting the sheriff during a disturbance call Tuesday.

Grady Count Sheriff's Office said Russell Mason claimed to be the Anti-Christ and threatened to burn his house down with his family inside. A Minco police officer, who has not been identified, showed up at the scene first. Mason stabbed the officer in the shoulder and in the back of the head. The officer managed to shoot Mason once in the leg during the struggle. Grady Co. Sheriff Jim Weir arrived shortly after, wrestled with Mason and arrested him.

Weir was injured in the scuffle and was treated at the hospital. The Minco officer's name is being held at the request of the Minco Police Chief.
