Amarillo Fire Department investigating cause of Amarillo Blvd. structure fire

Amarillo, TX - The cause of a fire that burned six apartment units in Amarillo this afternoon remains under investigation.

The Amarillo Fire Department responded to the 4400 block of Amarillo Boulevard east around 1pm.

A small apartment complex near Gamboa's Night Club was up in flames. It was a two alarm fire that was under control by 1:30pm.

Authorities are still working to determine the extent of the damage. Officials say no one was hurt.
