Duncan Police Looking for Vehicle, Steel Stolen from Business

Posted: Updated:

DUNCAN Okla_ 7News has new information in the weekend theft of nearly $20,000 in steel from a Duncan business.

We reported Monday night that investigators believed it was a complex plot, and surveillance cameras had captured the thieves in the act. Now, police want you to take a close look at images taken from that surveillance video. Pictured is an SUV and a 20-feet-long flat bed trailer the thieves used to enter the business after they cut the gate at the Cameron Measurements plant off Highway 81.

Police say once inside, they loaded up the steel into the two vehicles and stole a third one from the business to load some more. The one stolen vehicle described as a white 2006 Ford F-350 flatbed pickup with the tag number 934-96Y and VIN 1FDWX36Y16EB69987.

The steel stock stolen is marked with the plant's identification. Police say they know at least three burglars were involved.
