COMANCHE CO. Okla_ A man responsible for killing a woman in Lawton last year after he suffered a seizure behind the wheel learned his fate Tuesday, and his victim's family said it's not harsh enough.

Last November, Kenneth Porter slammed into Jennifer Williams' car near Southwest 52nd Street and Malcom Road. Investigators said the seizure caused Porter to go off the road and through a field, where he hit a couple of trees. They said he made his way back onto the road, where he hit Williams' car and killed her.  Tuesday, Porter was sentenced to 90 days suspended for reckless driving.

He had been originally been arrested on a complaint of negligent homicide, but it was changed to reckless driving shortly after. Two weeks ago, Corey Williams, Jennifer's husband, learned Tuesday was the sentencing date for Porter. That is when he decided to fly down from Fort Carson, Colorado where he is now stationed.

"This is a tragedy," Corey said. "There was no justice served here, not even a little bit."

Williams believes his wife was not respected in the courtroom but hopes she will instead be respected by the court of public opinion. She served in the army and met Corey on a mission in Afghanistan. She had treated Corey after he was injured. Corey said when she found out she was pregnant, she immediately left the army to take care of their daughter Olivia and go back to school. Corey then was deployed to United Arab Emirates but had all faith in Jennifer to take care of their daughter.

"She was the epitome of a military spouse," Corey said. "You couldn't wish for a better military spouse than her. She was the best."

He had been deployed for four months, and then the wreck happened. He said the news was absolutely devastating.

"We both had iPods," Corey said. "I had spoken to her via Facetime that day. It was morning for her and night time for me. I saw the baby, and everything was great. We laughed and joked like we normally did. Then, that following evening is when I found out when everything had happened."

Their daughter was just 11 months old when Jennifer was killed. Corey said Olivia won't remember much of Jennifer, but he will always remind Olivia of the women she was.

"Jennifer is the type of woman that Olivia should grow up to be," Corey said. "She joined the army, great with people, great with money, great with everything. She is the perfect role model for my daughter or anyone's daughter for that matter."

Corey said Tuesday would have been their fourth wedding anniversary.
