LAWTON, Okla._Operation Homefront of Oklahoma was hard at work Friday, preparing for their 4th annual toy distribution.
Saturday, Lawton military families ranks E-6 and under will be able to go to Cameron University's CETES Conference Center to fill a bag with toys for each of their children.
Friday, volunteers were been busy sorting through thousands of gifts, gift cards, and even food.
The items were all donated by several local business, Operation Homefront and other supporters.
Operation Homefront Oklahoma, Executive Director Carol Herrick said the holiday season often puts an extra burden on service members and Christmas shopping is one they won't have to worry about.
"Whatever is donated to us we make available to our families because every little bit helps.
Our intent is not to replace their holidays its just to support and augment it and make it a little more special, " said Herrick.
Operation Homefront's Toy Distribution begins Saturday at 10am and last until 2pm.
For those military families that were unable to register, after 1pm there will be open registration.
Gifts will be given out while supplies last.
