Update: Bedlam baby death

Posted: Updated:

NORMAN, Okla._ A lost Bedlam game bet in Norman may have been what triggered a man's frustration, when he took it out on a baby and killed him.

Tre'viance Walker was arrested in Lawton Sunday. Investigators said Walker was in Norman December 7th and was caring for the baby when he became frustrated and shook him before dropping him into a playpen because he wouldn't stop crying.

Thursday investigators said the baby shared no family relation to Walker, but was his girlfriend's child.

The baby's mother found her son several hours later unresponsive and rushed him to the hospital.

Hours later he was pronounced dead. Walker admitted to the crime and is charged with 1st degree murder.
