Roosevelt County appoints new County Clerk

Portales, NM - Roosevelt County has a new County Clerk following the resignation of Donna Carpenter and her Chief Deputy on Friday.

DeAun Searl was appointed by the Roosevelt County Board of Commissioners Monday morning.

Searl had previously served Roosevelt County for the last five years as a County Service Specialist in the Clerk's Office.   

She will be in office as the County Clerk from now through January 2015.
