LAWTON, Okla._ Shoppers were out in full force throughout the day Monday with time ticking away before Christmas morning.
People were shuffling their way through the Central Mall in Lawton with one day to go: "I am about 95 percent done," said Julia Salas, Lawton.
Aryana Bread, however, says she hasn't even started shopping and doesn't plan on it until tomorrow.
"Everyone's all last minute, like we had the whole year to shop and we all picked the last day to do it," said Bread.
Despite the holiday closing in, shoppers were still looking for deals. Many stores offering between 25-75 percent off select merchandise.
"$139 pair of jeans for $59," said Ernest Swindle, who was at the mall with his wife on the hunt for bargains.
The shopping frenzy is not over just yet. Christmas Eve is set to be one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
Bread swears procrastination is the way to go, but knows tomorrow will be a busy day for her.
"I will be shopping my butt off, that's what I'll be doing," said Bread.
