Lawton Man Assaults Girlfriend And Her Mother

LAWTON, Okla._A Lawton man is behind bars after assaulting his girlfriend and her mother near a Lawton pharmacy.

Police responded to a disturbance near SW 11th St and Lee Blvd just after 3:30 Friday afternoon. Keisha Burnett had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend Tianthony Hall; he then picked up Keisha and carried her to a nearby convenience store where he dropped her onto the ground.

Shortly after, Burnett's mother, Terri Burnett, joined in confronting Hall. Hall then kicked Terri's feet out from underneath her causing her fall and hit her head on the ground. Hall then grabbed the mother's purse and took off north toward F Ave.

He was arrested following a short foot pursuit for two counts of domestic abuse, one count of petit larceny and resisting a police officer.
