One dead, 4 injured in Hartley County wreck

HARTLEY COUNTY, TX (KFDA) -

A wreck on US 385 in Hartley county, just outside of Channing, leaves one woman dead and four people in the hospital.

Department of Public Safety Troopers say a car was traveling northbound when it entered into the southbound land and hit an oncoming car head on.

The driver of the northbound car was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, passenger, and two children in the other car were transported to Northwest Texas Hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers say everyone involved in the accident was wearing a seatbelt.
