UPDATE: Fire destroys home in Pampa

UPDATE: Pampa Fire Department says one woman and her daughter were in their home when the fire started in the 2200 block of Williston, and escaped with no injury.

Two animals were in the home as well, one of which was rescued by firefighters.

The other remains unaccounted for. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.


Amarillo, TX - Fire crews were on the scene of a house fire in Pampa Friday afternoon.

The blaze appears to have engulfed the entire home in the 2200 block of Williston, likely leaving it at a total loss.

We have no official word at this time on whether there are any injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation with the Pampa Fire Department.
