Two people are dead after a rollover accident.

Amarillo, TX - A man and a woman from Bushland are killed in a rollover accident just south of Hereford.

According to DPS officials, the two were driving a pickup and towing a horse trailer Saturday morning.

The couple was headed south on FM 809, when the driver crossed into the other lane and over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll.

They were identified as Juan Vasquez-Chavez and Feliciana Vasquez. Juan, who was driving the car during the accident, was trapped inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Feliciana was ejected, and was flown to Northwest Texas Hospital. She later died at the hospital.

Neither were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. Juan was 89 years old. Feliciana was 88 years old.
