Duncan father admits to fracturing son's skull

DUNCAN, Okla._A Duncan father admitted to injuring his infant son in April of last year.

Ricky Torrez pleaded guilty to child abuse by injury Thursday in Stephens County court. Torrez was arrested after his 3-month-old son was admitted to the hospital with a skull fracture and brain swelling in April.

Torrez admitted to placing the infant on a changing table too hard, causing the baby to hit his head. He said he had acted out of anger when he became frustrated with his 2-year-old daughter.

Torrez's sentencing hearing is set for March 4, 2014.
