North Texas man arrested in stabbing at Duncan bar

Duncan, Ok_A Henrietta, Texas man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing at a Duncan bar.

Terry Byrd is accused of stabbing another man in the stomach during an argument just after midnight Sunday. Byrd told police he did not remember stabbing the man but police said Byrd had blood on his hands and shirt.

The victim's underwent emergency surgery at Duncan Regional Hospital. He is expected to survive.

Byrd is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
