UPDATE: OHP identifies driver killed near Comanche

Stephens County- Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the driver killed in a head-on crash just south of Comanche in Stephens County Monday night.

66-year old Alma Lindesmith of Waurika was killed on highway 81 just before 7 p.m. when she was thrown from her car after hitting a deer. Police say she was driving north when she hit the deer, over corrected, and slammed head-on into a Suburban traveling south. Lindesmith was ejected from her rear passenger window and was pinned under her car. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

At last check, the driver of the second car was in critical condition at Duncan Regional Hospital with a head injury.

His wife, was treated and released.

OHP says they are from Enid.
