Two Arrested After Lawton Police Chase

LAWTON Okla_ A pursuit that started on I-44 near the casino ends in the front yard of a northwest Lawton home.

It ended near 6th and Glendale, when two suspects drove through two yards before smashing into a parked truck. Police said after they crashed, they took off. One jumped two fences and kicked in a back door. Kathleen Bussey and her husband own the truck and saw it all happen.

"He actually saw the truck flying through our yard," Bussey said. "Then, we heard this loud bang, and we looked out the door. The truck had actually been hit and shoved all the way into the neighbors' yard."

Police nabbed the suspects and say the truck they were driving had been reported stolen about two weeks ago. Police also believe they found a mini meth lab in the bed of the truck.

7News Reporter Dylan Stephens found out the Busseys now are without transportation, just by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He'll have more on that tonight at 6.
