Altus murder trial underway

Altus- Opening statements in an Altus murder trial are set to begin Wednesday morning.

Detectives testified during Manuel Daniel, Junior's preliminary hearing that Melissa Bost had taken some crack cocaine to his house the day she was killed in August of 2012. Her body was found in her car in an alley a couple of miles away.

The medical examiner's report says the 49-year-old suffered several knife wounds. Daniel is charged with first degree murder and has pleaded not guilty.
