PREVIOUS STORY:

Pampa, TX - The trial of an area man convicted of murder that started earlier this week is expected to come to a close this week in Gray County.

The jury is still in deliberations for a verdict for Joshua Rigo. Rigo is accused of killing Lefors resident, 42-year-old Kristi Slatten who was found dead on New Years Day 2013.

A Texas Ranger has presented evidence discovered after Rigo was pulled over, driving Slatten's car. At the time of his arrest Rigo is said to have been caught with Slatten's blood on some of his clothing and a pair of Slatten's underwear inside his pocket.

Rigo's father, Daniel, testified saying his son had called wanting to bring some guns and knives over for a Christmas gift, guns and knives the prosecution say belonged to Slatten.

We have a crew inside the courtroom right now and will bring you the latest once the jury is done deliberating.
