DeLeon found guilty of first degree murder

A Clovis man has been found guilty of two counts of first degree murder and two counts of abuse of a child.

This comes after a week-long trial in Curry County. 28 year old Enrique DeLeon was convicted late Friday night of shooting his next door neighbors in 2011.

DeLeon was arrested the night of the incident and has been in custody since that time.

Officials say sentencing will be scheduled after a diagnostic evaluation is conducted.

DeLeon faces two life sentences in prison plus and additional eight years.
