Amarillo, TX - One man has been arrested in connection to the deadly conduct investigation in North Amarillo.

Amarillo Police say Fernando Prieto confessed to firing dozens of rounds in a neighborhood on Friday night.

Prieto was booked into Potter County Jail on a charge of deadly conduct.

No one was hurt when the 30 to 50 rounds were shot, but some of those bullets did hit a house on Oak street.

Originally police detained and questioned 5 people, but they were let go, after Prieto confessed.

Officers believe Prieto was not targeting anyone during the incident.
