Lighting fixture to blame for Wichita Falls house fire

WICHITA FALLS, Texas_ A lighting fixture is to blame for the flames that tore through a Wichita Falls home Saturday.

The Wichita Falls Fire Department responded to the structure fire call just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.

The fire broke out inside a home near 28th Street and Pennsylvania Road.

Firefighters worked for about 45 minutes to put the flames out.

No residents were home at the time of the incident.

No word yet on the estimated cost of the damage.
