LAWTON, Okla._A gas pump caught fire at a Lawton gas station Tuesday morning after a driver reportedly ran into it.

Around 11:00 a.m. at the Stripes gas station located at NW 53rd and Cache a customer who was standing at the pump says the other driver jumped the curb and hit the pump. After that the driver reportedly went inside the gas station and told one of the employees before going back outside and driving off. Firefighters arrived shortly after and were able to get the fire contained while the man standing by the pump, when it all started, waited inside the station.

No one was injured in the fire but the car did suffer some cosmetic damage.
