Candidate Forums lead up to March primaries

Amarillo, TX - The March primaries are approaching and to keep area residents informed three candidate forums are being held.

Panhandle PBS will air the first two forums Thursday night beginning at 8pm.

The first one will represent the Republican primary candidates running for the 13th Congressional District, followed by Republican candidates for the Texas Senate District 31. There are currently no Democratic candidates in these high profile races.

Then on Sunday at 4pm the candidates for Potter County Judge will answer forum questions.

All three forums will re-broadcast on NewsChannel 10 Too Saturday evening beginning at 7pm and Sunday afternoon starting at 1pm.

Candidate Forums:

* 13th Congressional District, Thursday night at 8pm

* Texas State Senate District 31, Thursday night at 8:30pm

* Potter County Judge, Sunday at 4pm

* Panhandle PBS: Channel 2.1 and Channel 2.2

* Rebroadcast on NewsChannel 10 Too: 10.2 Saturday 7pm and Sunday 1pm.
