LAWTON, Okla._Love is in the air and flowers are flying off the shelves. A local flower shop owner said today's business is booming in the last-minute rush before Valentines Day.
"Valentine's Day... we do in one day what we would normally do in a week or a week and a half," said Ramon John, owner of Flowers by Ramon. This is his 54th Valentine's Day to be in the flower business.
He said today is busy, but the business was expected. On the day before and the day of Valentine's, his staff will deliver close to 500 orders. Ramon says that if you haven't ordered flowers for that special someone yet, you need to get an order in first thing in the morning to ensure they are able create the bouquet before their supply of flowers runs out.
